一、印刷机种类繁多，按印刷色数和面数分类
1.单色印刷机

二、印刷机按用途分有以下两种：
1.一般印刷机：所谓一般印刷是指采用凸、平、凹等版式，以纸张为承印材料，以印刷报纸、彩页、画册等一般印刷物为主要对象，以传递信息为主要目的的印刷方式，如书版印刷机、报版印刷机等
2.特种印刷机：供特种印刷用的印刷机，主要有不干胶贴纸印刷机、软管印刷机等。
三、按印版种类分有凹版印刷机、丝网印刷机、平版印刷机、凸版印刷机四种：
1.凹版印刷机：凹版印刷是用凹版施印的一种印刷方式。凹版印刷机是用凹版进行印刷的机器。凹版是指图文部分低于空白部分的印版，主要有雕刻凹版和照相凹版
 
2.丝网印刷机：丝网印刷是孔版印刷的一种，印版的图文部分可透过油墨漏印至承印物上的印刷方式。丝网印刷印版呈网状，版面形成通孔和不通孔两部分，印刷时油墨在刮墨板的挤压下从版面通孔部分漏印在承印物上。
3.平版印刷机：使用平版完成印刷过程的机器，图文部分与空白部分几乎处于同一平面的印版。
4.凸版印刷机：凸版印刷机是使用凸版完成印刷过程的机器。图文部分明显高于空白部分的印版，如照相凸版、感光性树脂版、活字版等。
四、按承印物类型分为以下两种：
1.单张纸印刷机：以单张纸或其他单张材料为承印物。
2.卷筒纸印刷机：以卷筒纸或其他卷筒材料为承印物。
五、按压印机构形式分为以下三种：
1.手压平印刷机：压印机构和装版机构均呈平面形。
2.圆压平印刷机，也称平台印刷机：压印机构呈圆筒形，装版机构呈平面形。
3.圆压圆印刷机：压印机构和奖版栩村幼导圆筒形。

（1）. Special printing machine: the printing machine for special printing, mainly including adhesive sticker printing machine, hose printing machine, etc.

3、 According to the type of printing plate, there are four types: gravure printing machine, screen printing machine, lithographic printing machine and relief printing machine

（1）. Gravure printing machine: gravure printing is a printing method of gravure printing. Gravure printing machine is a machine for printing with gravure. Gravure refers to the printing plate with the graphic part lower than the blank part, mainly including engraving gravure and photogravure

（2）. Screen printing machine: screen printing is a kind of hole plate printing. The image and text part of the plate can be omitted to the substrate through ink. The screen printing plate is in the form of mesh, and the plate forms two parts: through hole and through hole. When printing, the ink is missing from the through hole part of the plate on the substrate under the extrusion of the scraper.

（3）. Lithography machine: a machine that uses lithography to complete the printing process. The graphic part and the blank part are almost on the same plane.

（4）. Letterpress: letterpress is a machine that uses letterpress to complete the printing process. The graphic part is obviously higher than the blank part of the printing plate, such as relief plate, photosensitive resin plate, letterpress plate, etc.

4、 According to the type of substrate, it can be divided into the following two types:

（1）. Sheet fed press: the substrate is sheet fed or other sheet fed materials.

（2）. Web press: take web or other web materials as substrate.

5、 Press printing mechanism can be divided into the following three types:

（1）. Hand press: both the press mechanism and the plate mounting mechanism are in plane shape.

（2）. Circular press, also known as platform press: the press mechanism is cylindrical, and the plate mounting mechanism is flat.

（3）. Circular press: the press mechanism and the award plate are cylindrical.
